Bishop T. D. Jakes and his wife, Serita Jakes recently wrapped on the gigantic faith based family entertainment event, MegaFest in Dallas.
Over 75,000 attended the star studded grouping of conferences which included, Woman Thou Art Loosed, ManPower, MegaKidz and MegaYouth. There was even a Faith based film festival which screened Bishop Jakes’ latest film, Bishop T.D. Jakes Presents Winnie Mandela.
It was a converging of Hollywood and the Christian entertainment world. Among the celebs who attended and/or participated were Oprah (she taped her Lifeclass show featuring Bishop T.D. Jakes for OWN), mega church pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen, Jennifer Hudson (Bishop T.D. Jakes Presents Winnie Mandela) and Kerry Washington (Scandal).
