Resort in Las Vegas on February 7th, complete with a Red Carpet event co-hosted by Willie Moore, Jr. (Host, The Willie Moore, Jr. Show) and multimedia personality, Jasmine Sanders, and serving as a prelude to one of the most-watched television events worldwide, Super Bowl LVIII, which millions will tune into on CBS Sunday, February 11th, the Soulful Celebration promises to kick off the festivities in style.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the “Lifetime of Inspiration” Award to CBS Mornings co-host Nate Burleson. This prestigious honor celebrates Burleson’s significant impact on the NFL and people of faith, as well as his contributions to media, sports, philanthropy, and business. Previous recipients of this award include football legends such as Tony Dungy, Ray Lewis, and Deion Sanders.

But the celebrations don’t stop there. the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration 25th Anniversary will feature an incredible lineup of an eclectic mix of inspired performances led by music icons Earth, Wind & Fire, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Mickey Guyton, Rachel Platten and Robin Thicke. Adding to the excitement, The Players Choir, an all-player ensemble that has become a staple of Super Bowl weekend festivities, will deliver a show-stopping performance sure to captivate audiences.

off the field. Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills will receive the New Beginnings Award, while Markquese Bell of the Dallas Cowboys will be honored as the HBCU Player of the Year.

And not leaving out the women, in conjunction with Essence magazine, the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration has partnered with Essence magazine to introduce its inaugural Essence Glass Ceiling Breaker Award presented by Mielle. Part of Essence’s Black Women In Sports, the award recognizes outstanding women of color who have broken the virtual glass ceiling in sports to achieve great accomplishments. The honorees are the NFL’s Kimberly Fields and Dasha Smith, and the Las Vegas Raider’s Sandra Douglass Morgan.

The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration 25th Anniversary was Executive produced by Melanie Few, who promised her late father before his passing that she would keep the special show going to celebrate its 25th year and beyond. Valarie Benning Thompson served as its producer while veteran
