The drama stars Grammy Award winning singer/actress Stephanie Mills as reality TV star and baker Birdie Moore. With her business at the height of success, the matriarch’s family secrets threaten her success and all that she has overcome to be at the top of her game. Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Srory also stars Grammy Award winner, singer, actress, syndicated radio host, Erica Campbell as Pastor Trey, Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles as Gabe Moore, Birdie’s son, and Keeya King as Birdie’s granddaughter Ella Boudreaux. Rounding out the cast is Lucia Walters (Virgin River) as Shanice and Jaime M. Callica (Ruthless) as Khalil.

Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story tells the story of “full of-herself” mother and grandmother Birdie (Stephanie Mills) whose world starts to fall apart after family secrets are brought to the light at the height of her success. Her Pride kept her estranged from her daughter and now it is keeping her from seeing her family as they truly are. Her son Gabe is a crooked opportunist, while her granddaughter Ella is a lost twenty-something year old going around in circles. Birdie must face the truth about her family and herself or face the consequences of Pride.

Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story is directed by Troy Scott and produced by Neshama Entertainment, T.D. Jakes Enterprises, DNA Media Group and Robin Hood Productions in association with MarVista Entertainment. Felicia Brooker wrote the script, while award winning composer Ray Chew composed the music.

In addition to Executive Producers T.D. Jakes, Derrick Williams, and Shaun Robinson; Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew for MarVista Entertainment, and Arnie Zipursky and Suzanne Berger for Neshama also served as Executive producers of the drama.

Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story is the fifth movie of the seven-story anthology; Lust, Envy, wrath and Greed which attracted approximately 7 million viewers in 2022. If that is any indication of the popular moves, Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story should do very well crossing over from faith based to mainstream audiences.
