LisaRaye McCoy tells all and then some on the latest episode of TV One’s Uncensored, Sunday, October 20th at 9/8p.m. CT.
Executive produced for TV One by Swirl Films’ Eric Tomosunas and Keith Neal, the LisaRaye feature of the no-holes barred auto-biographical series will show the actress and producer telling the story of her rise to fame.
With telling statements from LisaRaye like, “When all else fails, get in where you fit in. So I became a video hoe!” Uncensored will give the audience a look at her life of privilege she had growing up with two parents in Chicago, which was forever changed after her father was murdered, onto her arrival in Hollywood with her young daughter in tow, to when she was the “it” video girl, to her first starring movie role in Ice Cube’s cult classic, The Players Club, and on to roles in network television shows (Single Ladies, All of Us).
LisaRaye will also “spill the tea” on the ins and outs of Hollywood as an African American woman trying to make it in the film and TV entertainment business.
