Jordin Sparks Bakes Today on CLEO TV

Many of you may remember Jordin Sparks as the season six, 2007 winner of American Idol. If you are a little younger, you probably know her from her hit songs “No Air” featuring Chris Brown, “Battlefield” or the dance chart topping  “S.O.S. (Let The Music Play.)”

Since then the platinum selling Grammy nominated singer /actor, who at 17 was the youngest winner of the American Idol title, has grown up. She has had roles on Broadway, TV and film. Sparks was featured in the re-make of the Sparkle. The NAACP Image Awards and BET Awards winner had roles in Left Behind, Show Dogs, God Bless The Broken Road, and the Broadway musical Waitress.

Sparks got married in 2017 to Dana Isaiah, had a child and is now fully grown. Expanding on her gifts, Sparks’ latest creative adventure finds her displaying her culinary and hosting skills on the CLEO TV Show, Heart of the Batter with Jordin Sparks. She bakes classics and trendy recipes of goodies while throwing in a splash of love and inspiration.

On this week’s episode Sparks shares highlights from her musical career, American Idol, her life as a new wife and mommy, and tells her story on what it was like performing “Respect” before the late Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
