Get ready to shout, praise, and celebrate as the Stellar Awards celebrate 40 phenomenal years of gospel greatness! Central City Productions has officially announced the nominees for the 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, presented by Procter & Gamble, and this year promises to be one for the books.

Taping live Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN, this year’s awards will honor the best and brightest in gospel music across 36 categories.

This year’s top nominees are coming in hot! Pastor Mike Jr. and Jason Nelson lead the way with 9 nominations each, including the coveted categories: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Jason Nelson’s “You Belong: Live in Durham”, and Pastor Mike Jr.’s EP,  “I Got Away.”

CeCe Winans follows with 8 nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for More Than This, featuring the hit single “That’s My King.”

Other multiple nominees lighting up the list include:
Mississippi Mass Choir, Adia, Deitrick Haddon, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Tamela Mann, Chandler Moore, Kenny Lewis & One Voice, Micah Lee, and the trio FK&M (Fred Hammond, Keith Staten, and Marcus Cole).

This year’s Stellar Gospel Music Awards is executive produced by Don Jackson, with a powerhouse team bringing the show to life behind the scenes. Jennifer J. Erin Johnson leads as Talent Producer, and Daniel Moore takes the helm as Music Director.
