Family Entertainment movie, Raising Izzie makes its world-wide premiere on GMC this Saturday, July 21st at 7, 9 and 11p.m. EST. It airs again on Sunday, July 22nd. The film’s screenplay is the winner of the 2011 GMC Faith, Family and Screenplay Competition. It is the story of two young orphaned sisters and the caring teacher who changes their lives forever.
The film marks the first collaboration between GMC and producer/director Roger M. Bobb (“House of Payne,” For Colored Girls) and starring Vanessa Williams (“Soul Food,” “Lincoln Heights”), Rockmond Dunbar (“Soul Food,” “Sons Anarchy,” “ The Game”), Kyla Kennedy (Three Stooges, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), and Victoria Staley (“My Parents, My Sister and Me,” “Surface”).
