It was glitz, glam, and grown-woman realness as BET+ turned up the star power in Atlanta and Houston to celebrate the arrival of Tyler Perry’s highly anticipated new drama series, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas.
The stylish spin-off of Perry’s original hit Sistas brings a bold and emotional new storyline to the screen, following five powerful women, Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette—as they lean on each other through heartbreak, healing, and the rollercoaster of starting over. With friendships tested and secrets exposed, these ladies show that when the love fades, the real story begins.
The BET+ original eight-episode series, now streaming, showcases a dynamic ensemble cast. LeToya Luckett stars as Rasheda, alongside Khadeen Indréa as Geneva, Porscha Coleman as Naomi, Briana Price as Tiffany, and Jennifer Sears as Bridgette. Rounding out the cast are the talented male leads: RonReaco Lee as William, DeVon Franklin as Pastor Jeff, Donovan Christie Jr. as Franklin, and Robert Christopher Riley in the role of Javon.
Created, written, and directed by media mogul Tyler Perry, Divorced Sistas dives into themes of loyalty, self-discovery, sisterhood, and the emotional terrain of divorce, with all the drama and life lessons Perry fans have come to love.
Houston and Atlanta Parties Bring the Heat

To celebrate the exclusive premiere, BET+ hosted two star-studded launch events that perfectly captured the energy of the show.
In Houston, the celebration was held July 1st at the elegant Bungalow Downtown Dining, where a select group of VIPs and influencers sipped cocktails, posed for flicks, and previewed the new series. Among those in attendance were Devale Ellis, Muneera Paige, Karen Johnson, DJ Supastar, Xandi, and Sunni The Rapper. The event was hosted by Houston’s own multitalented rapper and actress Jazz Anderson, who kept the vibes flowing all night.
A week earlier, Atlanta’s Hotlanta launch party heated up the all-new Retreat by The Gathering Spot on June 23rd. Hosted by V-103’s vibrant radio personality Jazzy McBee, the evening brought out a who’s who of ATL flavor, including T.I., Big Tigger, Derek J, AJ Calloway, Alex Jacke, and Rudy Currence. Guests mixed, mingled, and caught an exclusive sneak peek of the series that has social media buzzing.
