The African Pride Gospel Superfest airs tonight at 7p.m. ET/6p.m. CT on TV One. An encore presentation will follow at 8 p.m. ET/ 7p.m. CT. This 19th annual gathering of Gospel’s best and brightest musical stars and Hollywood celebrities was recorded live at the Schuster Performing Arts Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Hosted by film and TV actor Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game, Grand Hotel, The Steve Harvey Show, Miss Congeniality) the one-hour telecast honors Gold and Platinum selling, Grammy Award winning Gospel recording artist Donnie McClurkin, best known for his cross over hits “Stand” and “We Fall Down,” with a musical tribute. African Pride Gospel Superfest includes soul inspiring musical performances by special guests Deitrick Haddon, Sensere, J. Moss, Tye Tribbett, The Shelby 5, Isabel Davis, Micah Stampley, Byron Cage, Demetrius West & JP and Bri Babineaux.
The African Pride Gospel Superfest is produced by Cartwright Entertainment Group. It is executive produced by former Dayton TV station Manager Bobby Cartwright Jr., and Renita A. Cartwright.
