One of the most powerful voices in Gospel music, Micah Stampley has released a soul-impacting album, To The King…Vertical Worship on Interface Entertainment.
The man who’s voice has been compared with the phenomenal Donnie McClurkin, has delivered a praise and worship project that speaks to the hearts and souls of a multitude of audiences, from Christian music fans to Traditional and Contemporary Gospel fans. To The King…Vertical Worship debuted at number two on the prestigious Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart and number nine on its Top Christian and Gospel Albums Chart. The single, “Be Lifted” has charted in the top twenty on Billboard since its May 2016 release. According to Stampley, the song is climbing higher on radio than anything he has ever put out.
Stampley and his wife Heidi, who is also his partner at their indie record label,co-wrote the songs on the new album. Micah’s sons sang on the project.
The album has an eclectic mix of music styles but remains true to worship and praise. Micah said of the album, “It is very God centered.” He also said “To The King…Vertical Worship is a worship CD, and worship and praise prepares the hearts of God’s people to receive God’s word…it tills the soil (of the soul).”
While Micah Stampley’s To The King…Vertical Worship climbs the charts, the international worship leader is traveling across the country promoting it on the Vertical Worship Promotional Tour. To find out more about the tour and Micah’s music visit www.micahstampley.org
