Sony’s Miracles From Heaven is a box office hit. The TD Jakes produced film has raked in over $18 million since its March 16 release date in theaters proving once again that faith based films can pull in mainstream audiences and be profitable. TV One’s hit new TV series Here We Go Again will air its season finale tonight at 8p.m. ET.
In the comedy’s finale, attorney and pregnant former teen mom Maddy (LeToya Luckett) is fed up with both men in her life, Victor (Andra Fuller) and Cedric (Travis Winfrey). Maddy wants to fin a way for everyone to make peace. Maddy’s daughter, Shante (Kyndall Ferguson) is scared she may have fallen into the family curse and Maddy’s mom Loretta (Wendy Raquel Robinson) fears she may be going through “the change.”
Another hot TV One show to watch is Born Again Virgin, airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET with new episodes. The series follows Jenna (Danielle Nicolet), a vlogger who decides to become celibate after a stream of unsuccessful dates and hook-ups leave her wanting more.
In this week’s episode of Born Again Virgin the girls find themselves in jail. Jenna (Danielle Nicolet) loses one of the designer shoes she borrowed from her boss, and each recounts their version of events to try and find the missing shoe. Davenia McFadden (Smokin’ Aces, Stranger Inside) guest stars as Kashenda, a nosey inmate in the holding cell.
